I was looking up rules regulations and things of other states im going to visit thinking of taking a few days to hunt. one state offers archery for wolves im just not sure if i could knowly let them get that close. Would you bow hunt wolves?

It would be cool, but I'd rather be able to reach out and "touch" one if given the opportunity. Good luck.

Not intentionally :chuckle: I will be packing my AR along for the first time this week in the longshot event I see a wolf while I'm out deer hunting with family. I've never hunted or used red dot sights before though...if I see one I will probably rely mostly on magazine capacity :mgun:

LMAO! hehe
as far as them getting "that close"... heck yeah. I'd love to take one iwth my longbow at 5 yards... Im not saying I wouldn't have my 44 or 10mm on hand... but I dont think I'd worry about them getting too close for a shot...

After talking to another bow hunter today. He has taken several wolves with his long bow. He enjoys the hunt. I may have to give it a try some day soon. Though im still not sure on that yet. I still need more practice.

I would think that a tree stand would be a requirement!

Humans have hunted with far less lethal weapons.
