Post by: KFhunter on December 01, 2014, 07:23:21 PM: a smash like that doesn't always bleed right away, I wouldn't expect gushing blood. I been smashed by stuff (not a bear trap mind you) and not a drop of blood for 30-40 seconds sometimes.

I suppose they could have heated the long springs red hot on the ends and took the temper out of them, but it looked like it snapped pretty good to me if it's the video I seen.

was it a radio show stunt? stupid deal, looked painful.

Post by: Humptulips on December 09, 2014, 12:12:23 AM: The springs on that trap are way weak. You can tell by how easy it was to remove the trap. To be honest can't see how it could have hurt him. They knew it wasn't going to do any damage before hand but played it up big for the camera.

He took three twenty dollar bills and two bear traps and put them in the passenger window so you couldn't see the bear traps but could reach in the cracked window to get the money. Two days later around 10pm while watching tv he hears from outside a man yell. "God help me" he then calls the cops they come arrest the burglar and he got his stolen stuff back from the police after they searched the burglars house.

When I was in highschool I had a 330 close on both my thumbs with gloves on. Didn't hurt much, but I couldn't get it off either. Had to walk about half mile for help removing it. More embarassing than anything.
