Depends on how much snow the mountains get this winter. I'm kind of hoping for a average or less than average snowfall for the Avery, ID area. If that happens, probably the last week in May. Maybe even move it back towards the middle of May. I have a couple of areas I can fall back if there is too much snow where I want to go. Also will depend on how many slides in the area I want to go. Going to go with my middle son. Really looking forward to it.

That's awesome! I will of course be doing some spring bear in unit 4 and will prob be able to get some buddies also with the discount tags for this unit..

Sounds good to me once we get closure we will work out a plan. Hopefully I or someone in my family is holding the moose tag next year!!

I got a couple if you need one. I usually only run one site a year.

Ill be hunting spring bear in unit 1 unless i draw my spring bear tag here. Went over in may this year and have been kicking myself in he ass for not having brought my rifle and a bear tag.

I missed a good boar this year in Idaho. Nice red coat on him too. I was muley hunting and came across him. Would have spent my second deer tag on him after already killing a little buck. He looked 250 ish.

I've always thought this would be a fun hunt, one of these years, I'm going to make it happen.
-
I think we have a mutual friend that does pretty well down there. I've always thought about hooking up with him and doing a little color phase chasing.
