Title: 2015 Idaho Spring Bear

awesome! Ill probly end up hunting bears there also. Already have the license and was thinking about trying an area with discounted bear tags. Whag dates are you looking at?

Post by: Machias on December 03, 2014, 09:41:47 AM: Depends on how much snow the mountains get this winter. I'm kind of hoping for a average or less than average snowfall for the Avery, ID area. If that happens, probably the last week in May. Maybe even move it back towards the middle of May. I have a couple of areas I can fall back if there is too much snow where I want to go. Also will depend on how many slides in the area I want to go. Going to go with my middle son. Really looking forward to it.

we should definitely meet for some spring bear! Since we never connected when i was moose hunting. Im hitting 4 also if i go.

Sounds good to me once we get closure we will work out a plan. Hopefully I or someone in my family is holding the moose tag next year!!

Post by: fordpowerforever on December 03, 2014, 12:59:38 PM: i was thinking about going to unit 10a for spring bear, did a couple days of whitetail hunting and seen a lot of bear sign and talked to a local who had they have killed some nice ones.

:yeah: I cant get into unit 18 in June only partially into unit in mid June

Post by: DIYARCHERYJUNKIE on December 09, 2014, 07:01:19 AM: I missed a good boar this year in Idaho. Nice red coat on him too. I was muley hunting and came across him. Would have spent my second deer tag on him after already killing a little buck. He looked 250 ish.
