I agree. W.WA is not without pocket populations of wild pheasants.

Proabably originally a released bird.  I used to live several miles from the Scatter Creek release sight and we would see them every now and then even that far away.

I grew up on the scatter creek release and would feed birds all winter long. They do make it every now and then.

i know this really doesnt pertain to this thread, but i remember the days of hearing naturals all the time where i grew up, off of canyon rd and 152nd by frederickson, is was great fun as a kid sneaking up on a ringneck with the bb gun, never killed one but it was fun trying... i havent heard one in forever now..
