Or do you have to leave them where they are?
-
Actually Naches Sportsman that's bad advise. You can pickup antlers (elk, deer) but horns, like sheep horns you can not.
-
That's what I thought now they will just rot away :bash:
-
That is to bad, hard to leave them behind.
-
What kind of horns are you talking about?
Naturally shed deer and elk antlers you can pick up.
Skulls you cannot.
-
Naturally scavenged by animals with nothing left but horn from road kill sheep :bash:
-
Antlers yes horns big no no in WA State....
-
Well, I would guess if you found "naturally" shed horns you could take them :chuckle: :dunno:

I know what I'd do 8)

:yeah:
put them right next to the other heads and horns I have collected while moving through the woods after season and hunters can't find their kills
-
Antlers yes.
HOWEVER, it is illegal on US Fish and Wildlife (National Wildlife Refuges) and National Park Service (Rainier, Olympic, Lake Roosevelt, etc) lands.
-
I wouldn't have the balls to keep a sheep skull. :yike:
-
It is legal to pick the sheep horns up in Idaho, but there are restictions.
