just got my tom back from the taxidermist in davenport, had him mounted left hand flying my first bird and i am hooked I will post a picture as soon as I figure it out.by the hodges taxidermy in davenport did the work nice little lady who does a nice job.

the cost was $ 400 bucks. I think next time I will get a fan made she had some in her shop that looked great.

I was gonna say I shot him opening morning the first five min. and I was done. I wasn't back to the truck 5 min. and officer wood pulled up to check me out I figured I was in for it but he was great.

Thats ok, just tell em that you made a mistake and use the $$ to hunt. Seems to be ok with some >:(
But Sweeeeeeet mount! Almost all taxis run at $400 for turkeys.

bow hunt if you are from lincoln county you probaly know my lady who did the mount . she did a helluva job.

Gotta love those flying turkey mounts. I had the same mount done on a bird I shot two years ago and it turned out great. It's also nice because you don't have to have a podium to set the mount on like you would if you had a strutting mount.

I have to call in a expert on hanging these damn birds on the wall, every time ft. lewis gets to going my birds hits the floor. :bash: :bash: :bash:

When you say "My Lady" do you mean My Lady?? Or My lady taxidermist...LOL I saw her at the Bighorn Show..nice work...Shes in Hawk Creek...can you tell me where in case I get a state record...Hodges isn't it? Thanks Logger. Send me a PM if you want.

upon further review of my previous post, I reliaze that no she is not my lady, but she did a good job on my bird and furthermore i will pay more attention to my sentenceing sequincne. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Logger was trying to be funny..please don't take what I said seriously..I just wanted to know where she is located in Hawk Creek. It looks like she does nice work. Hodges taxidermy is all I have no address. I know she lives in Hawk Creek somewhere. Thanks.

Is that turtle hunt in the Bahamas? Sure nice of you to pay for the trip! I hope it has a real long bird, 16 " or longer. :P How was your muzzleloader cow elk hunt? :beatdeadhorse:
