[/b][/b]I took this buck in for a Euro this year and am usually pretty good at estimating age based on teeth wear. This buck has go to be the oldest I have ever seen based on his teeth. Any guesses.

Interesting that the 4th tooth on both sides are broken in the same spots. Buck is probably 8-9 years old.

I remember a guy calling me one time telling me he killed a really old deer and wanted me to look at it ..I ask him what made him think it was very old ..He told me that it has to be really old because it has no upper teeth in the front :dunno: :chuckle: I told him that deer are browsers and do not have upper teeth in the front .. :chuckle: little off topic but had to share ...that deer's teeth look pretty worn ...how big is his rack ? show another picture of the whole head :tup:
