Tags are great, but not even close to the Kifaru's in my opinion. I'm thankful I still have a couple quarter bags from Kifaru before they discontinued them. Tag's are your best bet these days for compact quarter bags.

Cabelas MT050 Guide Gortex rain gear both tops and bottoms. I hunted more days in rain this year than not, and packed meat most of those days and I was extremely happy with how the clothing performed. Kept me dry, cool, and comfortable. It was expensive but worth every penny in my mind.

I got the pants. I burn hot when I'm on the move, so a pair of bibs would just be to much for me. Most days I wore just the pants, or maybe had a light baselayer on under them. The day my Dad killed his bull, it rained hard literally ALL DAY. He fired his shot at 7:30 in the morning and we got the last load to the truck at 7:30 that night. I was effectively dry when we got in the truck. That day sold me.
I'm upset to see how friggin cheap it is onsale on the Cabelas.com right now though! Holy cow!

Nice new rigs guys! Here's mine. :IBCOOL:
I really looked hard at the Hummer the past summer. They are a real deal used with low mileage. The poor reviews about the way they handled on the freeway and the lack of power kept me from pulling the trigger. But, I haven't yet made any decision and at 200K I think it is about time to trade miss reliable in. Would very much like to hear your review after having it for a few months on freeway and off pavement.

Rad the freeway driving was great. Loaded to the gills it still gets right around the 12 mpg that it advertises. That would be doing 60+ of course. Mine came with new tires and prior to that was having some shaking issues. But I never got to feel it. I drove it out past Boise hunting and it preformed great. I took it on some tight roads and gave it a few racing stripes but they buff out pretty easy. And it seemed to fit anywhere I took it. I though it was to wide but seemed just right. I had a problem with it holding a charge after I got it. The battery would die after a day. I reaced a few different things and removed the aftermarket alarm. All to find out it was a bad cell in the battery. :bash: but haven't had a problem w it since. Through the mud it eats it up. The tires are like half freeway half off road. So with some chunkier tires it would dig in even harder. I don't remember feeling a tire slip one time this year. So yeah great rig rad. Got mine with 86000 on it for a steal of a deal. 26 even. 8) you won't find that at a dealer though rad. I bought private party. But you can write a lot of the price off because of the weight of the vehicle. Like 10,000 or something like that. I'll let you know. It's over a certain weight so if it's for making broad heads the Feds give you a little back. Don't get an h3 they are junk. The h2 is the last real hummer. Get the bigger engine. That's whats in mine and power was not an issue even loaded full and going over lots of passes this year. I have yet to tow with it but I don't see it being an issue it's got lots of power. It seems zippy. Handles turns great.
I do however get lots of funny looks out in the woods hunting. I chop it up to jealously. It's just they don't know that it's a country boy in the city slickers rig. Till they see chew spit, racing stripes on the door and blood on the tail gate. then they know.
-

They probably never seen a pimpin' drug dealer that far off the pavement before :chuckle:

^this was a big factor in my decision to move down a few years in truck and up a whole lot in miles. Quite glad I did as I've since gone on to pin stripe and hit that tree stump that everybody talks about

That's ok, don't need em. It's grouping bare shafts with fletched at 30yds. Need to save up for more vanes before I put broadheads on though. :chuckle:
DIY, it's an amazing bow. Easiest bow I've ever tuned. Best draw cycle I've ever felt. Perfect fit and finish and holds like a Dream.
