Title: lost my dog tonight. RIP Brown dog
Post by: D-Rock425 on December 19, 2014, 06:45:33 PM: My dog unfortunately slipped out of the yard tonight and was hit by a vehicle. She didn't make it. Hardest part is explaining to a 7 and 4 year old last year's Christmas present isn't coming home. Hard pill to swallow.

I know exactly what you guys are going through, and I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our KC last year cause my daughters dumb azz ex boyfriend ran her over in our own yard. The pain was unreal, I hope you all remember the short good times you had. Dogs do go to heaven, no doubt!! Take care :'(

I got my own dog a month after buying my first house. Had been planning it ever since Abby was hit. It's impossible to replace a beloved pup but a new addition will help the heart grow in a new direction. Hard to think about right now I know.

I have a 2 year old son and 4 year old daughter. They will never go without a dog.

Post by: lokidog on December 21, 2014, 08:36:22 PM: I was on the other end of this once as well, had a black lab come up out of a ditch ten feet in front of me, the dog didn't have a chance. I stopped and the owner came out, I'm not sure who was crying more.... It sucks no matter what.
