Title: Did better on shooting the ducks Christmas eve day.
Post by: hunterrcc on December 27, 2014, 12:10:31 AM
Had my limit in 10 minutes. Jumped two ponds got 7 birds. 2-2 on a pair of green head mallards. Then 3 gadwalls a buff head and green wing teal all on the second pond.  Shot 2 gadwall on first shot, hit another gadwall on second shot, drake teal on 3rd shot and then reloaded and hit a bufflehead on the circle of the pond.  Then a few mallards fly right over me from a little puddle beside the pond.  Didn't see any mallards so I figured I would just get the gadwalls! Then the team and bufflehead heads just flew perfect for the shot.  Dog had a workout chasing them around pond but got them all after 15 mins of chasing them around the pond! Good fun!  My son wanted to be my bird dog! Lol
