Bro in-law bought the 1500 308 package deal with niko sterling scope. Shoots sub moa @ 100 with factory ammo. Scope sucked third range trip couldn't keep zero an threw it in the trash. Went an bought leapuld v2

I do believe the Weahtherby Vanguards are the same barreled actions as the Howa 1500's and made by the Chinese. My 257 Weatherby is a shooter too.your correct put my vanguard in a Blackhawk axiom stock. Barrel cools quickly with all that air flow under the barrel

I know a guy who gave up on building those big dollar, long shooters and runs a stock Savage 243 with a good scope and keeps up with the big boys at the 1000yd shoots.Im a po boy,Im well under a grand with this set up,a Christmas bonus made it possible..This scope will really be fun I believe...Im going to make a portable shooting bench to use on the farm..El Cheapo lol

I know a guy who gave up on building those big dollar, long shooters and runs a stock Savage 243 with a good scope and keeps up with the big boys at the 1000yd shoots.Im a po boy,Im well under a grand with this set up,a Christmas bonus made it possible..This scope will really be fun I believe...Im going to make a portable shooting bench to use on the farm..El Cheapo lol
