Hey I guys im 16 years old and I shot my first bear this year and its a really nice one. long story short I need a good taxidermist that is relatively cheap. so please help

Well those two things usually don't go together. :twocents:
Do you work any part time jobs? If so most taxis don't have to have all the money up front, and if they did I wouldn't use them. Part down turned in, then pay a little as they do it, 2/3 untill I pick it up then payment in full.
Be carful list of people work isn't all that!
Check out our taxi thread and read it for advice. :twocents:

What do you want done...a rug, shoulder mount or full mount. Generally speaking the shoulder / half mount will be the cheapest around 700 dollars. Rugs will run anywhere from 1000-1500 dollars and a full mount will run you 3000 dollars and up.
Where are you located? I use Tru to Life Taxidermy in Wenatchee and he does really good work. He did my full size bear in 2012 and it turned out great.

My favorite rugs and best quality rugs were by Red Dawg Taxidermy in Twisp. Last was $175/Linear foot.

You should send elkstuffer a pm with your questions, he's located just out side of Yakima, but his quality is the best around, and his pricing is more than fair. :twocents:

You could have it soft tanned for the time being. I did that with a chocolate i killed. Tanned amd hangs on a coat hook.
