Title: scope rings and bases
Post by: black hog on December 30, 2014, 05:20:25 AM: Putting a new gun together and was hoping for some input on the dnz and Talley I have been using Warne in the past but want something that is lightweight

I also chose a Luepold and a simple leather sling to keep the weight off. 9 days of thick brush hunting with some falls and tree knocks, the scope stayed true. I've also heard good things about DNZ. What are you putting together?

Post by: carpsniperg2 on December 30, 2014, 03:46:55 PM: I have a set of talley light weight rings on my 300wsm tikka. They have held up really well. I just put a set on that 7mm stw build I was telling you about. I am pretty much a warne ring guy but talley has been good to me so far.

Post by: bobcat on May 07, 2015, 09:40:51 PM: Almost anything except the standard Leupold bases. I really like Talley Lightweights, and another great ring is the Burris Signatures. I prefer to use them with Weaver style bases.

Thanks bobcat I'm looking into them more.

I'm wondering if anyone knows any gun smiths out there that can get this scope totally dialed in for me, this is my first tactical scope and I know that there's a lot to it..
