Looked like neither of these guys wanted to get close to Tiffany.  I think they are affraid of attractive women with buns in the oven. :chuckle:

I have a new respect for Eva.  Showed a lot of class with all the the young guys behaving poorly around her...and some old guys too!  A wonderful lady young girls in hunting can look up to.  A true class act like her mother and father.  Nice that she is five times more beautiful in person too!  That doesn't happen that often.

:( guys were acting poorly AROUND her?  It's one thing to make an offhand comment here in the comfort of our own home (Hunt-Wa), but to do so in her presence?  that's a bummer.  I try to not get too out of line here, either, but a pretty girl will always get comments.

As the father of a 7 year old daughter who is showing a huge interest in hunting, I enjoy watching Eva and her dad hunt together as a positive example for my kiddo.  She enjoys it, too!     I can't wait until she is ready for hunter's safety course in a couple years!  Eva has proved to be a wonderful role model for young hunters, and I am glad my daughter has someone positive to look up to like that.  We don't watch a lot of hunting shows (because there's only so much tree-stand sitting and turkey sitting I can stand), but the Shockey's always have a spot on the DVR.

Tiffany has really grown from that cute young girl to quite the beautiful young lady.  I am not much a fan of her and Lee's show, but they are very nice folks.  Always worth the effort to stop and talk with them if you get the chance.  I assume Tiffany was miserable at the show as any expecting woman would be.  I was surprised at how happy she looked every time I saw her.

Just to clarify - Our guys were well behaved around Eva and all the attractive young ladies.  They worked hard, played hard and were a great refection of what we want this company to be seen as.  Unfortunately there are a bunch of young men at each show I go to that have little control over their mouths and behavior.  Many of them representatives of good companies too :o  Some of them so poorly behaved I sort of feel embarrassed for their parents whom I do not even know.

I was hoping to get a picture of Matt Alwine, his wife, Cory from xXx, MLBowhunting, D-Rock and myself at the booth to represent all the H-W attendees at the show.  Unfortunately the show was so busy I was unable to make it happen.  I was able to get this photo L-R = RadSav, MLBowhunting, Del DelMastro, D-Rock.  Hunt-Washington showed itself well and with a touch of class

All Madman (except 4 blade models), all Triple Sec., Van Dyke signature and both DelMastro signature heads will start shipping to dealers next week.

I know that Carpsniper will be getting some of the first ones for his shop.  In Vancouver area I know for sure Archery World will be getting some of the first shipment as well.  I need to talk with Steve's Archery in Walla Walla to make sure he still wants to stock them.  Same goes with Grizzly Archery in Yakima.

As soon as we get show orders flowing properly I will start contacting the rest of everyone's favorite Washington archery proshops and see how many can help you guys out in getting them in stock quickly.  I will start a separate thread soon that will update you all on who the local shops are that have chosen to carry them.  And keep updating as other shops come on board with us.

We are almost completed with the website (SavoraArchery.com) that will make it easier for you to see what we have and the details of each.  I will also spend a little time on the previous mentioned thread to show everything as well.

One of the exciting things we are working on is getting JPhelps started on a series of assembly and tuning videos that will be available on the website.  I'm hoping we can steal the Alwines away from Shuttle-T and get some cool videos going with them too!

Thank you goes out to everyone who has been patiently waiting for these.  Should not be long now!

We also have some cool new colors in peep sights!!!  Four new colors added for 2015, Yellow, Orange, Sandy Brown (super cool!!!) and Platinum Grey.  I wasn't so sure how the yellow and orange would be received, but they were HOT with the dealers!  All we need now is to find out how they are received with the end consumers.

We also added color to our line of Aligners and tubing.  Aligners are now available in black, pink, purple, green and blue.  UVR tubing is now available in black, brown, olive green, bright green, blue, grey, pink and purple.

Seahawks fans who shoot tubing peeps could run grey tubing with a green aligner and a blue peep!  A guy could probably come up with a Husky combination easily as well!

I will be talking with both Nock Point and Riverside Archery in the next few weeks.  They did not commit to anything last time we spoke, but then again we were not ready to ship either.  So I am sure one of them will carry at least a few.  We also have a few newer shops in the area.  D-Rock and my brother talked with Wilderness Archery at the show.  I'm not sure what all went on there as I am still trying to dig myself out of the show paperwork.  Should be able to start giving you more information in the next few weeks.  Everything will start speeding up next week as we start making those first shipments.

I spoke with Carpsniper and he expects to be able to ship direct starting around the first of the month.  I expect Archery World down here will we able to do that as well.

Title: Re: Savora at the ATA

My favorites = Ti-Con 100 and TripleSec LPS100

Simplicity of the Ti-Con and the long history of success with the Contender style blades really make the Ti-Con and Ultra-Con broadheads shine.  Most of those folks that worry about 1" cutting diameters seem to warm up when you add the additional .0625" per blade.  Weird, but I guess 1.125" seems more appealing than 1" to many!

CL's solid blade profile in the Vandyke Signature, Triple Sec. and Madman is really an amazing product!  They may be small in stature, but they have proven HUGE in testing and performance.  I do not think a single test animal went more than 40 yards!  And the blood trails I witnessed were heavy and easy to follow...even though we never needed to track any of them.

CL's blade is our most durable, our most silent and probably our deepest penetrating.  Great things do come in small packages!  The purple ferrule was influenced by Smossygirl.  I'll be sending her a care package in a few days...sshhhhh, don't tell her :chuckle: :chuckle:  They also come with grey ferrules.

I don't no why I just like the look of the four blades you got there. I gotta get me some of those
Title: Re: Savora at the ATA
Post by: RadSav on January 16, 2015, 05:20:17 PM
I have not had a chance to spiffy up the 4 blade photos yet.  But here is a better look.  Right now I only have them available in the MadMan line.  Doubt we will ever have a Titanium version.  Once my brother gets the new machine into his shop we will try a few different ideas on getting a Triple-Sec or a 125 grain Stainless version of a new head we expect to release next year.

Slick Trick seemed to bring the four blade broadhead out of extinction.  I shot 4 blade broadheads for years after going to work for Savora.  They don't penetrate as deep as a three blade of the same profile, but there are a lot of things to like about a four blade.  I was the only one to test the 4 blade model as the prototype ferrules were not perfect.  They fly nice, leave a great blood trail and nothing gives a better visual reference when at full draw.  I might very well be shooting the LPS version for elk again next year.

Because the blades block out the ferrule the collars look oversized in these pictures.  Those are the correct size collars.  The way I set up the catalog I needed them positioned the same as the three blade models.  I will probably shoot some other photos with them angled slightly away for the cards.  Since the four blade was a late addition to the line I have not got the final card completed.  As such those four blade heads will likely not be available until April 15th.

Okay.  Will hold you to it!  Looking forward to trying them out.

Would you guys suggest a few just for practice or
Would you say shoot them all and then swap the blades out?  I have done both with my shuttle Ts.  Never quite happy with the sharpness though.

The sharpness of these blades will terrify you
Title: Re: Savora at the ATA
Post by: RadSav on January 16, 2015, 08:43:18 PM
No need to shoot them all.  Although it is a good idea to assemble them just to make sure a shallow blade slot didn't make it past me.  With all the trouble in supply chain issues we have had I have been taking it upon myself to inspect every single ferrule.  But the nights get late and I'm not as young as I used to be.  So there is always a chance something might sneak by me.  Shallow slots are really the only thing you need to look for.  Everything is good and straight, strong and there should be zero difference in flight from one to another.

Good idea to keep at least one package of replacement blades on hand.  I replace blades quite often.  Even in stainless blades the environment will break them down.  Sharp blades are the key to short heavy blood trails!

Rav I know these things are extremely sharp ! what are there flight characteristic's ?

All fly well with Blazer sized vanes. LPS and LPV heads actually fly well with Mini Blazers and MaxHunter Pro.  As with any head good FOC and a reasonable offset or helical will improve flight consistency.  The LPS and LPV heads have absolute minimal drag and planning surfaces.  You would have to go to an expandable to find less surface area in a three blade head.  About the only way to make the LPS blade more aerodynamic and remain legal to hunt with would be to reduce the blade thickness.  That and going stainless is the only area where we made a comprise between performance and sales.  All LPS, LPV and HPV blades are .030" AEBL stainless.

been called a lot worse than d loop

Del called me and asked the spelling of your last name so he could post a picture on his Facebook page.  I told him I thought it was spelled L-O-O-P :chuckle:

 may have to make the move .

You will actually need to listen to RT and "Shoot It!" so you can see what they do :chuckle:

RT closes all three raffles in a week and that's after taking three days off for women and Dairy Queen

Good idea to keep at least one package of replacement blades on hand.  I replace blades quite often.  Even in stainless blades the environment will break them down.  Sharp blades are the key to short heavy blood trails!

What's the best way to store assembled heads and/or blades in the off season?

Put mine in a Plano fishing box.

Plano boxes are all over my place!  Use them for a lot of stuff.  Remember that last years hunting blades are only good for next years practice.  They should never be used for hunting again!!!  I don't care if they are stainless or carbon steel...you should never use them for shooting animals the next season.

Wait, are you serious?? Not joking?

That is the freaking coolest thing I've ever heard, you really made purple ones "influenced" by me?  :yike:  :IBCOOL: wowwww I'm in awe, thank you thank you thank you.. can't wait to see them.

I was going to make both the Madman and the TripleSec pink.  Then remembered you liked purple.  Wanted to keep as much a H-W flavor to the line as I could.

We have no plans for a 125 grain purple at this time.  In that short blade 125 grain will have to be a stainless ferrule.

MSRP will range from $24.99 to $49.99 per three pack.  Depending on ferrule style and material.

I did not see them at either show this year.  We ran out of titanium ferrules already so I've been working on getting those back up and rolling first.  Plus I'm waist deep in taxes.  As soon as I have the time I will give Bill a call or make a drive up there.

Ti ferrules are here and QC'd.  Should have all the pins in them tomorrow.  Shipping again by Wednesday.

Lol, OK how about a dart out of a blow gun? Can't get much better than that 😀 Honestly I had never shot this persons bow before and didn't realize till the last second that it was a broad head I was shooting (he handed it to me with an arrow already knocked). When it left the bow, it was quiet, smooth and you couldn't tell the difference between it and the field points I was shooting out of my bow. Nice job guys!
