I recieved this in an E-Mail? Take a look at a bear killed in Tumbler Ridge B.C
-
Man, there are some giants out there!
-
Kind of scary knowing those creatures are out in the woods :o
-
:o
-
That is a big ass bear for sure.

:yeah:

Not only is it huge... the hide looks good on that thing. I could imagine it making a good sized rug.
-
I wonder when it was killed? There is no snow in the photo and it certainly doesn't look like a spring bear other than the claws.
While it's a big bear I wonder how it will mount? Honestly if your considering a bear hunt and shelling out BIG $$$$$$$$ will you appreciate a few extra inches in skull or a completly filled out rug?
I know there really isn't any way to know if this was a client and guide or some local BC boys. The only thing I know is they can't shoot those every year and it's gonna cost em to mount it.
Do you have any skull measurments? The claws look to be an old bear? They are very long and that is indicative of a spring bear.
Interesting animal......I'd like to know more.

me too, Big Horse, there is just something wrong with those pics. I can't figger it out yet.

All I can say is LIFESIZE!
-
the bears right paw looks like two different sizes if you look close.

Why the suspicion? Damn nice grizzly bear.
So the bear bled out the nose when it was turned over. It's called gravity.
Not all fall bears blunt the claws down.
Somewhere on this website my brother posted a picture of his grizzly from this September he killed here in Nome and the claws were extremely long.

I think there is too often a rush to judgement when a picture is a bit less than perfectly composed. I don't have a clue who the BC bear was killed by but the thing looks perfectly normal to me.
But hey thats just my opinion.

:yeah: :dunno:

Agreed!
I wana kill a Damn Grizz!! :bash: :bash:
-
i saw the pics awhile ago but that is a huge bear.
-
I am not suspicious of the bear/pic at all, but to me, if I had to pick out something in the pic that would make me question it...it would be the paw as I stated.
Personally, im just jealous! :chuckle:
-
I had a lot more pics but I deleted the E-Mail. I looked at all the pics and didn't see anything suspicious? It's a MONSTER!!!...................... :chuckle:
-
the picture of the bear looks fine, but the guy in the green hat looks like my wifes garden gnome........
-
people ask me why I carry such a big gun when I'm riffle hunting, well its because of animals like that. I may only need it .1% of the time but that is still part of a percent which means there is still a possibility that I will need it. 338 ultra all the way.
-
Thats why I like to hunt with someone who I can out-run, I am Trad-bow only!!!
-
Timothy Treadwell toured the inside of one about that big, a while back... :chuckle:
-
That pic on its back :yike:
looks like a damn warewolf monster!
Yet I find myself strangely aroused... :P
Thats a super bear!
