Title: Basin birds working well
Post by: crabcreekhunter on January 13, 2015, 01:29:29 PM: Took some friends out this morning, birds were finishing well and decent shooting on the day!

Post by: crabcreekhunter on January 13, 2015, 04:09:55 PM: All the birds I've been hunting are north of moses but lots around o'sullivan and further south, going to give a good duck/goose combo a try tomorrow and should be plenty this weekend!

Sure hope so heading over for a three day hunt near Connell should be good!

Post by: Badhabit on January 13, 2015, 11:11:10 PM: State Park launch is open, Mardon you can launch from the beach. Blythe the cement launch was iced in as of Sunday but you can launch on the North side of the parking lot. Perch Point you can launch, Pretty sure the power line launch on Crab creek is also open. Not a whole lot of spots open to hunt if you go get their early like midnight and be prepared to get crowded. Lind Coulee was producing birds last weekend, again get their early. Late afternoon flights of ducks and geese coming off the refuge. Find the magic corn field and you'll have a great hunt. When I say late I mean the last 10 minutes of legal shooting time. Dang birds are on a clock.
