Title: Does anybody have any extra pheasant capes?
Post by: Big10gauge on December 26, 2008, 01:39:24 PM: Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has a couple of pheasant capes that they wouldn't mind parting with. Trying to make a couple of coyote decoys.

Post by: clindsayrun on December 27, 2008, 06:24:27 PM: I wish you had posted sooner. I'll walk out into the orchard tomorrow and see if they coyotes tore up the scraps I threw out there. If they didn't get eaten yet they'll be frozen solid.

How are you going to make your lure? Or are you just going to hang an old pheasant pelt on a stick?
