There are a half dozen public areas out there. Depending on the weather and the crowds any one of them can produce a nice limit.

Avoid Jensen access. Too many people shooting too high, not enough birds. The Welks Unit can produce well if you get a pond and there are not too many people out there. I've done well at the Skagit Flats if you want to walk.

Take a few decoys, set up and see what happens.

Are you looking for ducks, or geese ?
Do you have a boat or not ?

It's been a few years. Used to jump shoot and pass shoot out in front of headquarters during low tide.Out in the flats. Did real good. Good luck. :twocents:

Flats haven't been too good this year. The cold front has finally pushed some birds in from the bay, but the count of birds is still slim to none, especially when you have a bunch of skybusters up there that couldn't hit anything if it was 5 feet in front of them.
