Not off a paved road, but within 100 feet of a green dot road none the less.

This was torn off a bull's head in a fight right next to an old logging road.
-
I found this one on the shoulder of a logging road.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ftapatalk.imageshack.com%2Fv2%2F15%2F02%2F06%2Fb9ba02c8100ee02a305eb4bf614bbac1.jpg&hash=249981c57dd4e898ab5ac62766eb917495287601)

Sometimes animals drag them around and chew on them. I've been down a skid road in late spring, only to return later in the year and find one right in the middle of it.
-
That left side is awesome IBspoiled
-
This one would have flattened my tire!!!
-
Road shed and hanger all in one!

Road shed and hanger all in one!
I saw another one of yours from this year.
-
Don't have a pic but my first shed was found in Sept some years ago. After setting up elk camp in went for a drive and spotted a elk shed only 30 yards from the road and 60 yards from a another elk camp.
Don't know how many times the drove by it and never saw it :chuckle: :chuckle:
And this was up devil creek in the Nile unit.

geez........ nice
-
There are some really nice finds on here.
I have found a few over the years in the road but only a couple. I have found more in the ditch beside the road. I think when the animals jump the ditch and land it is sometime just enough of a jolt to pop them loose. Just a theory.
Growing up the neighbor use to feed cattle round bales and sometime grain when finishing out. The Deer use to come in and eat out of the bins and we use to find several sheds around the feeding area. Sometimes a pair off the same deer.

I found this one yesterday laying on the side of the mainline.
-
I'm hoping to find a few next weekend in my spots. Maybe some pics if nothing else.

Thhats a dandy!! Were you driving? Or Walking?

Driving

Very nice!
-
I found this one yesterday laying on the side of the mainline.
That's a nice find, especially on mainline. Which gate were you in?
-
Nice on from the mainline. I love the color of that one!
-
I was in the south gate. Im pretty sure it wasnt there when i went in.
-
Yeah that's damn lucky, imagine how many log truck drivers come across. Did you look around for the other side?
-
That's about as fresh as they get. Don't think a shed would last 1 day on a kapowsin mainline.
-
Me and my girls found a real nice one on a main line in there and it had been there at least a week. It was already dry on the end. It's amazing what people will miss, I saw it poking out of the grass at about 30mph but I'm always looking
-
Still to this day never found a shed. Guess I'm just not spending enough time out there. :bash: work.. Between 3-4 hours of driving and 5 8-11h shifts. Not much free time. Im jelly of all you guys :chuckle:
-
I looked for the other side but no luck. My buddy found one laying right in the middle of the road on the 3 last year.
-
Right on, hopefully I'll come across one someday!
-
.

:brew: nothin better than road shed :chuckle:
oh jeez
-
Found this set earlier this year, didn't have my phone on me, so I dont have an ATL picture. Found 1 side on the road, and the other one in the brush.
-
Cool looking sheds
-

Is that a moose paddle or a palmated deer shed?
