Anyone have one of these? Always wanted one since I was a kid and read the hatchet and have a chance at a great deal on one. Are they good enough to squirrel and rabbit hunt with?
Thanks

I own one and it I like it. Important to realize it is a survival rifle. Reasonably accurate. If you are looking for accuracy for head shots this is not the tool except for close range. You are better advised to buy a different model. My 10/22 take down is more accurate. But, if you are into toys than this is a good one to add to the pile. Mine has a lot of miles banging around in the rig and a few times it has come in handy to tame a few cans and on occasions when I failed to bring proper grouse defense it came in handy.

Yeah nothing to add, I wouldn't hunt with one if I had another .22 available

no idea if it's a good rifle, but it has a fishing pole :chuckle:

Wonder what happens when you accidentally pull the trigger while reeling in a fish? Joust not sure this is a good combination.

ya, I'd skip the fishing pole idea and just have a nice knife in the stock, fishing line, mylar blanket, fire making stuff in the stock.
easy enough to get a stick to fish with

looks like it is only a single shot. Does not state on the web page unless I missed it.

I dunno, honestly I didn't look too close at it.
I'd want a bolt action tube fed gun. Keep the tube fill and it isn't "loaded" by definition until you put the rifle together and install the tube magazine.

I think I'm going to get the Henry, will be a cool little gun to keep in the truck.
-
My only problem is sometimes I forget it is there :chuckle:

I have one and they are pretty fun to play around with! Easy to store too!

Shot a buddy of mines years ago and really liked it. would be a good kick around/keep in the camper/Truck gun. .22LR is so so with me as far as a survival/defense round, a little to minimalist for my taste. but all that being said I kinda want one too lol.

The wife got me one for Valentine's Day/wedding anniversary

When I was a kid I thought these things were cool as hell and always wanted one. Congrats on the Vday gift from the little woman and happy anniversary. Mine was Feb. 2nd I just showed one to my daughter, she thought it was cool looking but quickly told me she still wants the pink camo M&P 15-22 but that I could get one for myself if I wanted. It's always nice to have the approval of a 12 year old....
