Got a bear this last fall. The taxidermist I am using uses a tannery that takes a little longer than normal... I am having a half-body wall mount (mouth closed) done. I think? Was wanting to see if anyone might have something like that they could post up?

Here's a crappy picture of mine done by a tricities taxidermist. Can take more if you would like.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi452.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fqq243%2F92xj92yota%2FMobile%2520Uploads%2FIMG_20140311_214026959_zps15989f9b.jpg&hash=bf10210fb03382749b274ac2d1e8b8b36f416b83) (http://s452.photobucket.com/user/92xj92yota/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140311_214026959_zps15989f9b.jpg.html)

Shot him with my bow about six years ago. Not the biggest but a special moment in my hunting career so I had to do something. I do like the looks of these mounts however.
-
Here's our biggest bear, his left ear looks funny because it had been bitten off at some point in life.

Great mounts guys!!

Here's mine

Those wall mounts are my personal favorites. I like them better than a full mount. Saw one of a cougar once. If I ever kill a cat. I'm getting a wall mount!
-
Some good lookin mounts! Reassure's me its worth the coin... Thanks for posting
-
Here's mine.

Got these two, I've become more of a fan of the mouth closed. Got a third mount on its way from taxidermy
-
How much does a typical 1/2 body wall mount weigh ready to hang?
-
Mine isn't very big, so it doesn't weight much. small bears are easier to pack out!  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Whats a half mount like those cost? Ballpark
i think mine was about $1400..i was just gonna get a head mount done because of the price but the one i got is kinda rare so momma said to get the 1/2 mount done and have never regretted it...those ones with the claws out and teeth barred are cool but i opted for mine with the mouth slightly open because that was how i shot him.

here is a couple old ones that we did a few years ago!
