Title: Wolf recovery film
Post by: Sitka_Blacktail on February 19, 2015, 12:02:24 PM
Here is a fairly balanced view from all sides of the wolf recovery efforts. To me, the worst part was the bait and switch tactics used and the continually shifting goals. Also, not allowing problem animals to be lethally removed was a huge mistake.

I had missed this when it came out last year.

The Defenders chick should really eat some meat or she's gonna break.

It would be one thing if they hadn't lied. But after reaching the goals and re-setting the goals, and then forgetting the goals, it became obvious that from the start, they never had any intention of going along with management. This is precisely why our wolf plan was set up in such a way as to never be fulfilled and management never to start. The geographical goals will be almost impossible to attain. Once we do attain them, the court battles will begin, battles with the same people that the WDFW has been in bed with, has on the wildlife commission, and has on the wolf advisory board, watching every move and reporting every word. It's a fix.
