I have '14 Impact and I love shooting that bow. Very stable and quiet bow. Mine is a 60-70 pound bow.

Searun1 I have only shot the bow when we were setting it up at the shop. It seems very accurate and is very smooth and quiet I agree. I bought mine from Van Winkles in Everett.

If you don't mind heavy physical weight and short brace height bows the Impact is very nice! Smooth and very quiet for a 340IBO bow. The 35" length helps off set the short brace height making it feel a little more stable than it should be. The Prime grip is one of the better ones out there and that helps tame that ridiculous brace height too. The 4.5# weight can probably be given credit for a lot of both those benefits as well. Fit and finish is fantastic and the gimmick cam does not shoot heavy at all. If it was under 4# and had a 7+ brace height it would be the bow to have for sure! Even as is it's one heck of a hard bow to beat.
RadSav, thank for the input the bow is taller than some however I felt it was better balance for me after holding some other bows the dealer had. Hope the bow does what I want it to do Kill Critters!

I found balance to be one of the more impressive things with all the Prime bows. They are really producing some good stuff!

According to primes commercial all my misses are caused by my bow. I knew i should have bought a prime, Id never miss again! :chuckle:
Ever notice the bottom left of NAP packaging? Twisters in this pic, but also listed the same thing on Quickspin, broadheads, arrow rests...Which one makes the difference? Don't you have to choose? Or can you only get those results if everything on your bow is made by NAP? :bash:

The new commercial is what made me not buy a prime this year.
Ad or commercial? I do not get hunting shows so I've not seen a commercial. Ad is a spin doctors dream, isn't it? Quite the shame as the bow could really stand on it's own merit. Doesn't need the added hype and conjecture.

I haven't seen the commercial. All marketing is ridiculous anyway. Just like in any high end sport nowadays every reputable company makes a good product.

My buddy bought the Defy, we shot them both quite a bit today, gotta say there is more to shooting a bow than ya think, Christ! with that the bow is great in my opinion was able to keep three shots in three inches ha I know that's not great but first time ever shooting a bow I was pretty happy. Have to work on that dang form thing!
SeaRun1 you know what a Lightning is you have excellent taste in muzzleloaders as well. I hope this Prime turns out to be as good!

The commercial opens up saying,"was it you that missed? Or your bow?" Then goes on to explain primes "performance zone" that eliminates left/right misses. :chuckle:

What do you guys use to lube your release? Mine feels a little crunchy my buddy has the same release his not. Thinking maybe some lube but not sure what I should use, Gun oil? or?
Anything that dries. Remington Drylube or Elmers Drawer lube are always good choices. Blowing them out with high air pressure is a good idea after being in the woods or rain.
