Title: 40-inch-mule-deer-no-shots-fired-hunt-applications-required
Post by: GotMyTag on February 23, 2015, 07:54:49 PM
Great Hunts often start with lots of footwork and application work.  Often there are hunt applications required.

Khase Critchley is my cousins boy.  The Critchley’s seem to shoot huge trophies every year.

Maybe in the future we will see some more of his trophies.

The Critchley’s even apply to go on shed hunts.  They understand that if you apply and make a plan you can go on great hunts.

This picture story is from On the hoof, to pick up the sheds, to kids with them at home, to the taxidermist, to the show.

Khase knows how to get the big ones.  The proof is in these pictures. He is just one of the good guys, who loves DIY public land hunting.  Not that he would not like to go guided and private or any other way.  But DIY public land is how his family was raised doing it.

Someday I hope to be as good as hunter as any one of the Critchley’s.  The Grandma/mom Nan included.

I do not think Khase guides for Mossback?  At least I never heard of it?  But they did give him the live picture after he found the sheds.  He was offered quite a bit of money for those sheds.

In your second picture the plaque says Mossback Guide

Antelope Island is a state park.. Don't know why you wouldn't be able to take pics... Now shed hunting in a state park on the other hand....I believe is illegal in WA not sure about UT

I enjoyed them very much, thank you for posting.  That being said, like most fair chase hunters, anything that has mossback on it is suspect to me.  In no way saying  Khase is a bad guy or associated with Mossback just curious why they seem to be laying claim to it.

I'm not sure I understand the link between "GotMyTag" and shed hunting on Antelope Island. Is that an application service you offer?
