Great Hunts often start with lots of footwork and application work. Often there are hunt applications required.
Khase Critchley is my cousins boy. The Critchley’s seem to shoot huge trophies every year.
Maybe in the future we will see some more of his trophies.
The Critchley’s even apply to go on shed hunts. They understand that if you apply and make a plan you can go on great hunts.
This picture story is from On the hoof, to pick up the sheds, to kids with them at home, to the taxidermist, to the show.
Khase knows how to get the big ones. The proof is in these pictures. He is just one of the good guys, who loves DIY public land hunting. Not that he would not like to go guided and private or any other way. But DIY public land is how his family was raised doing it.
Someday I hope to be as good as hunter as any one of the Critchley’s. The Grandma/mom Nan included.

Looks a lot like Antelope island area... Especially with some bones like that

Nice island buck. For $390,000 you can "get your tag".......
-
Only in my dreams.....
-
very impressive
-
Ohh and he's a Mossback guide too.... Nice... They guide a lot of the kills on that island
-
I was wondering why mossback was stamped all over it...............
-
Hopefully I find a nice set like that this year. :chuckle:
-
I do not think Khase guides for Mossback? At least I never heard of it? But they did give him the live picture after he found the sheds. He was offered quite a bit of money for those sheds.
-
Let me guess....no tellum canyon on no tellum island?
-
He obviously associates with them. Got my tag is probably Doyle himself. :chuckle: get your tag then call Doyle . Lol.

Ya antelope island. That place has 40" bucks every year. Just don't get out of your car to take pics, you will be ticketed😆

Antelope Island is a state park.. Don't know why you wouldn't be able to take pics... Now shed hunting in a state park on the other hand....I believe is illegal in WA not sure about UT

You guys make things fun.
Hope you liked the pictures.

I am asking Khase if he guides for Mossback.

I enjoyed them very much, thank you for posting. That being said, like most fair chase hunters, anything that has mossback on it is suspect to me. In no way saying Khase is a bad guy or associated with Mossback just curious why they seem to be laying claim to it.

I'm not sure I understand the link between "GotMyTag" and shed hunting on Antelope Island. Is that an application service you offer?
