Some of you may have seen my posts regarding our GR Amber. She has been a great family dog as well as an ardent duck hunter. She has earned her Started Hunting Retriever title (UKC). She is (was) 43 pounds which is a little small for standard of the breed, but fits in a blind or boat comfortably. The male we bred her to is a beautiful, dark red guy out of Portland that is about 67 pounds and has done well in the field trial circuit. We are looking forward to dark, smaller, puppies that will have an incredible drive to work.
The puppies will be ready to go home the first week of June. We currently have deposits for three puppies (two were spoken for before we even found a male to breed her to :) ) and figure her litter will be six, if the ultrasound is accurate.
We are asking for a $200 deposit and $1000 additional ($1200) upon delivery/pick up of the puppy (first shots, wormed, and dew claws removed).
You can learn more regarding her (and see more photos) and the sire's lineages on our website at islandgoldretrievers.com
The photos are Amber as a pup, bird lover (ferocious killer), and having fun on the beach.
Thanks for your interest. Lokidog and Weathergirl

Congrats on the litter. Our Tate is an offspring of the same dad, he's just over a year now, he's a great dog, his mom was on the smaller side as well and he ended up at 65#. I'm sure this will be a great litter of dogs! Look forward to the puppy pics.

And one more deposit on a female is coming in the mail (a hunting family-- :) ). We will still take deposits on two more males before they are born, and then will see where we are at with numbers and gender.
She's getting bigger by the hour it seems! And I'm getting SOOOO excited....

Great picture of the two of them, our dog is a spitting image of Mulligan. If only I could talk my wife into another puppy, lol. I know that won't be happening anytime soon though.
