I'm new to Washington and now live in Woodland. We moved here from Alaska in January and I haven't had any luck in finding a place to shoot near Woodland. Really is like to find a place close by so I can shoot out to 60 yds on a consistent basis.
Is there any such thing, even a place I can just setup a block and shoot?
Thanks in advance.

Can you set up at the park by Horseshoe Pond?

Maybe down near the bottoms? Austin point :dunno: I know a lot of guys go up Little Kalama river road to the DNR land to shoot pistols and rifles, but you need the dreaded discover pass to recreate up there.

You live in woodland. . Go to the river bottom or up in the hills.. you have literally 5000 diff places within 20 min.

Mossyhorn.. I also live in Woodland. You might try the property on 503 next to one the the churches. I know there for sale right now but i'm sure if you set up, shoot, and take down, they wont mind. I have 3 acres so i can shoot in my yard. I have not looked up the laws yet but you might want to make sure that Woodland does not say that you cant shoot (projectiles) in city limits. If they do, you will have to find somewhere out of city limits.
Sorry i'm not to much help. If you PM me i can help you out more

Thanks guys for the tips. I guess the hard part lies mostly in determining whether or not a piece of land is public or private. I'll do some more driving around and check out the dike road maybe.

Another place you might try is the field next to the home builders lots..(adair homes..etc)
