Title: Remote Muleycam 2015-Wea300mag
Post by: Wea300mag on April 20, 2015, 07:58:22 PM
I installed two cams over the weekend in my normal locations. There is still 2+ feet of snow at the upper cam so I don't expect much from it for several weeks. It took 5 minutes to dig a hole in the snow to place my salt block. I hope to find these guys taller and wider this year.

Yes, I spent a lot of time up there trying to bag one of them. I have a multi season tag this year and lots of vacation.

Just like the special permit process, there's lots of drama with my trailcams. I had a tree fall in front of one and a battery rupture in the other. The good news is the deer aren't affected by the tree, the bad news is the one with the ruptured battery was found dead with few images. :(

I brought the damaged one home to try and repair(power terminals very corroded).

I think this is a first for me, what looks like (5) legal bucks in one image.

Dandy spot you have there. Hopefully we see pics from you with one on the ground this year. Awesome stuff

More mixed news, all but one of my bear pics show just the top half but the one that shows a whole bear is pretty cool, a deer keeping a keen eye one him.

The tree on the ground is causing the bears to walk right under my cam.

I'm betting you needed a little Charmin TP liner in your shorts when you saw the rack on that first buck.  Very cool buck!

I'll throw this one out just because it will be haunting me from now until hunting season.  I think I'm convinced that I need to buy the multi-season deer tag I've been hesitant paying for.

Big boy. Wow. Love to see another view if you have one.

Unfortunately that's the only view, he doesn't seem to be interested in selenium salt like the others. I do think I have images of him last year but its the same angle.
