I installed two cams over the weekend in my normal locations. There is still 2+ feet of snow at the upper cam so I don't expect much from it for several weeks. It took 5 minutes to dig a hole in the snow to place my salt block. I hope to find these guys taller and wider this year.

WOW.. Awesome bucks! Cant wait to see what they turn into this year with that kind of growth last year.
-
This should pan out nicely.
-
did you ever get a chance to hunt these bucks last year?

Yes, I spent a lot of time up there trying to bag one of them. I have a multi season tag this year and lots of vacation.
-
good luck! I was fallowing a little last year waiting for the after pictures and story.
-
Those are some spectacular bucks!! Hope to see some more pics of those guys this year. Including a field pic with some pink blood around his nostrils
-
^^^ :yeah: hope to see some new pics and eventually field photos! Good luck!

Just like the special permit process, there's lots of drama with my trailcams. I had a tree fall in front of one and a battery rupture in the other. The good news is the deer aren't affected by the tree, the bad news is the one with the ruptured battery was found dead with few images. :(
I brought the damaged one home to try and repair(power terminals very corroded).
I think this is a first for me, what looks like (5) legal bucks in one image.
-
Dandy spot you have there. Hopefully we see pics from you with one on the ground this year. Awesome stuff
-
More mixed news, all but one of my bear pics show just the top half but the one that shows a whole bear is pretty cool, a deer keeping a keen eye one him.
The tree on the ground is causing the bears to walk right under my cam.
-
Awesome pictures.
-
Great spot! I love your pictures thanks for sharing.
-
:yeah: maybe the single best trail thread each year.

I just returned from a cam check. Lots of images, some big muleys. We will start off with some lions, tigers, and bears.
-
I'll throw this one out just because it will be haunting me from now until hunting season. I think I'm convinced that I need to buy the multi-season deer tag I've been hesitant paying for.

Big boy. Wow. Love to see another view if you have one.
Unfortunately that's the only view, he doesn't seem to be interested in selenium salt like the others. I do think I have images of him last year but its the same angle.
-
Great pics
Looks like you need some hunting buddies to take care of some of those other deer :chuckle: :hello:

Did you make it out for high buck? I know today is the last day of the season and you're probably on a horse somewhere, but I'm really anxious to see which monster you knocked down!
