Post by: Todd_ID on April 21, 2015, 12:33:36 PM: Dang. That's the fastest draw to shoot timing I've seen in any hunting. It looked like you never got to full draw, anchor, or aim before the arrow was gone. And you were thumping them! Good video!

We really would like to come up there and host an event. I know that there use to be a tournament hosted there in the 90's. I've even heard there are some big fish to be had.

I can say that my wife and I were walking along the river yesterday, sat down on a park bench to rest and enjoy, and I saw a carp jump about 30 feet from shore which I told my wife was an 18 pound fish. And I guessed on the low side of what I saw. It was a 30" fish, no question.

Very nice shooting. Reminds me of the old days when Whackmaster and I used to put the hurting on them. Now we just float around shooting arrows into the water for fun :o

I was wondering because I watch this show on the Sportsmen Channel called: bottom feeders. These guys are netting carp and buffalo fish and selling them. To whom and what there used for after that... :dunno:...I don't know.

I thought maybe you had a market for them so if you did I was going to ask that question.

But that sure looks like a lot of fun. :tup: :tup: :tup:

Post by: Stickers on April 22, 2015, 02:09:42 PM: There are a couple guys in Idaho that are making fish emulsion out of it. They'll give $.10 a lb for carp delivered. Average fish at potholes in 9lbs. I would love to have someone in the area pick up this trade, but it won't be me. I'm not ready to be the "stinky fish guy" just yet.
