Anyone know why parker lake deer hunts (archery and muzzy permits) are still 4 point min when the rest of the unit (49dn) are any buck?
-
Yup

Yup
:dunno: you know why?

It says in the reg. books for each permit what is legal to shoot for that permit.

Way to point out the obvious.. i never asked what the rules were.. :bash:
i aske because the general season in that same area (49) had the 4 pt min removed... i would have guessed the parker lake area would have also since it is in 49.
-
That could be a typo, you might check with WDFW, the 4 pt rule was removed in 117.

What a tool

you added zero useful info... i could read just fine what the rules said. I was looking for insight amd discussion... not someone to read the pages...
makes it about a useless permit if you can hunt the same seasons for any buck across the logging road.
-
I wouldn't call it useless. It is a special permit with limited hunters. Not a huge area to hunt but there are plenty of deer.

:yeah: It was a hunting closure until last year, it's a good opportunity for a nice buck.
-
He didn't ask what the rule was. He asked if anyone knew WHY the rule was the way it is. "Yup" would imply that "yup," you know why the rule is the way it is...
-
Not something ill use points on. There are endless amounts of area right near there that is otc and holds equally good deer. You cant tell me those deer dont leave the restricted area.
-
:yeah: kinda a dumb tag
-
The only good thing about it would be the limited pressure.

there isnt a buck in that parker lake area that is going to stay within its boundaries come Nov.
