cool pics, I've never seen a bull over there with a drop tine, pretty cool to see that.
Wonder when that calf was born, must have been REAL late, she's tiny.
-
Nice pics!
-
Those are some cool pics thanks! At the Starky experimental forest in Oregon I think their study attributed late dropping calves to cows that mated with immature or spike bulls.
-
Luv It!!! 8)

Holy hell that Calf is tiny. That thing would be a delicacy on the BBQ.

50CalJim shot an elk just like that calf in MT in 2007. That calf might be bigger. :chuckle:

Benbo, the tags are animals that have had blood drawn or dna work. The other leather collars are radio transmitters so the bio's can monitor the heards.
-
509er, isnt that bull in the 5th pic of the first set a 8 x ?
-
Yeah I shot a pretty small calf but at least it didn't have spots. Tell everybody about your Elk Wea300Mag.
-
i think it might get deep in here.... :chuckle:
gotta love those whale tails on that one boy...a few great bulls in there for sure. thank for the pics.

ok thanks , are they legal to kill or not
-
Ya they are legal. If you shoot one you have to contact WDFW and turn in the radio collar, I think you can keep the other collars though.......... ??
-
oh ok just figured id know so that way when i do start some elk hunting next season
-
:whoo: Stop it you are killing me. Gotta love elk porn.
