Has anyone here ever tried contacting Rage and collect on their guarantee?  What was the outcome?

Rage is a rather honest company with some really good employees.  I'd be surprised if they did not make good on a guarantee.  I've never researched the details and have not seen much in print.  Not sure if retail price of a single head makes up for the loss of an animal and your time.  But, it is an interesting marketing strategy.

I have used rage for several animals, if you can shoot and use a rage you won't need to worry about getting the animal or your money back! I have never had a failure with rage broad heads. If the target doesn't go down within sight, the blood trail is a dead give away(no pun intended) I have shot at least 25 big game animals with rage if the don't drop within 30-40 yards it was on me or my placement of the shot and they go a few extra yards and that hasn't been more than 70 yards.  Mule deer, whitetail, elk and black Bear, all pass through shots. I've tested reaper swacker, Ulmer, NAP, I always go back to Rage. They are worth every cent.

How do they fly? The only place I have to shoot is at a range and there is broad-head shooting only out around 30 yards. Any sight adjustment going from a 100gr field point to a 100 gr rage broad head?

If your bow is tuned correctly and you are using correct spined arrpws you wont have to adjust your sights. A better question is "is your bow in tune and your arrows correct?" If so they will shoot fine.

I looked these up and found out they also have a practice head shaped the same as a broadhead without the blades. Appears to be a good way to practice without tearing up some targets too badly.

Anyone try these practice heads yet.?

Dam coach that is pretty crazy.  I do love the fixed blade.

Rage did have a recall on their blades a few years ago.  But that is a problem with almost all expandable heads.  If you get the blades hard enough to stay sharp they are brittle.  If you get them soft enough they do not break at high velocity impact with bone they don't cut worth a crap after the first few inches.  Grim Reaper and WASP tow the line rather well, but most just go soft and figure no one will notice.
