Was killing some time sifting through the harvest reports for 2014. It shows 0 kills for the quality tag category for all 3 weapons types. Dang. I wonder if it was just bad luck or maybe they were holding out for the once in a lifetime bull or nothing.

Haha, I sometimes have wondered about the harvest reports and if they get all the numbers straight. I may double check to make sure I didnt get it wrong but the current posted ones say 0 kills. I figured a unit with so few tags they would get the stats right but apparently not :chuckle:

The harvest rates were high last year. I know of a couple spike tags that went unfilled but the quality tag success was high.

I double checked and now I see why. On all 3 weapon types it claims that there were 0 reports returned. Thats why they say 0 kills.

Maybe Dave Ware was in a hurry to get to wolves and didn't update all the stats. I know for a fact several were reported and the requested samples provided.

Haha, yea, just noticed another thread about the flawed stats they put up

It's pretty hard to believe that with a hard to draw hunt like the Nooksack, that people wouldn't do their reports. Usually the best permits have a high percentage of reports returned. So there's definitely some missing information that should have been included in the harvest report.
