I'm interested in doing some white sturgeon fishing. Does anyone know if there are any in the Spokane area.

Maybe lake Roosevelt?

Has anyone ever fished Lake Pateros? Are the a decent number of sturgeon in there? Any abundance of other fish? Catfish or walleye?

No targeting sturgeon in Lake Roosevelt, period. They are there for sure, seen lots of them, but get caught targeting them and your in trouble.

Lake Pateros, there are plenty in there as well. According to the regs, you can target them but it is catch and release only. There are plenty of walleye, and some cats in there. Good bass fishing in the right places. Just have to get out there and figure it out.

Have fun.

Look at fishing the area around the city, The Dalles, OR. Plenty of fish in that region of the Columbia.
