Title: Weyerhaeuser(etc.) permits worth your $?

For those of you that hunt elk regularly in W.Washington -- did you buy a permit to hunt on a lumber company's property last year?  If so, was it worth the investment?  If not, did you find your hunting was still profitable?

We hunted public land last year and were still able to get into elk pretty regularly.  You?

< Public land hunts only. They don't deserve pay for having us help keep the herds of limping elk from damaging their crops. Go Sox!

My nephew had his birthday at Fenway this week with seats on the Green Monstah. They wished him Happy Birthday on the big board - his lovely wife set up the whole day. I've probably been to a couple hundred games there. He's half my age and has me beat.
