Called this bird into 10 yards from the ground blind . 24 pounds, 9 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch Spurs. Got him with my bow, couldn't have been more excited! Definitely a rush I won't forget anytime soon

Nice turkey! Really like the third pic

Congratulations! Great pics, and some dandy spurs. That is an older bird based on his weight & spurs.

I dropped him off at the taxidermist and he said it was a double beard. What do you guys think?
-
Think that is one DANDY Eastern. Congrats, think I'd be dropping him off at the Taxi too.

Fantastic bird by throwing sticks ... extra special ... definitely a double ....
But it doesn't look like an Eastern, but more like a Rio or maybe even a Merriam ... of course state goes by county of kill, so what was the county of kill (I graduated from Battle Ground High School and still visit there at least once a year).

Look at the secondary tail feathers, classic eastern dark brown/reddish color. Easterns will get a more buff or tan tail tips.
