Oh forgot to mention we changed the age after printing the fliers.  6 years old instead of 8 on the low end.

Pictures from the event Saturday.  Visit from Smokey, locally LE, learning about wild life, and having fun learning how to shoot bows.

Finished up in the bb fun booth.  Was a great day but very hot.  Thanks too all the great volunteers that helped us out and great businesses that donated stuff.  Of course I am biased.  The little red haired girl is my grand daughter who just moved here from California.  Loved shooting a bow a little freaked shooting the bb gun but end up really liking it.   The kids went home with a bunch of swag, from calls to fishing rods.

my kids attended these about 8/9 years ago. They shot skeet, shot .22s, shot muzzleloaders, shot bow n arrow and were given a free House Calls slate turkey call. Wish they still had them up in the North end(last one we attended was at a Boy Scout camp north of Monroe)
Good times for sure.
