Title: Live pigeons

Post by: constructeur on May 17, 2015, 10:24:19 PM: We use homers in launchers, distraction birds (think training for a late flushing bird) or in a wild flush type training scenario, hence my question. I only have a couple of shooters at the moment, probably not worth the drive, but If I get a decent amount more I'll PM you.

I know it's another level of commitment, but it will pay spades keeping the dog in birds and helping him steady up.

Post by: constructeur on June 28, 2015, 02:12:26 AM: I have a somewhat regular supply of scrub pigeons now if anyone wants to get some. Pick up in either Seattle (Georgetown) or Kirkland on Rose Hill. 5/25$ 10/$50 All birds are fed Purina pellets when in my care.

If you have no way to present the bird I also have lion country supply style kick boxes for $20 (Theirs are $33 plus shipping.) Bwana Bob has a couple of them and seems to be happy.
