Title: Min bow weight?
Post by: 1buck on May 25, 2015, 08:13:30 PM: Hi fellas, my wife just got her first bow. We are trad archers and are having a blast. It would be fun to take her small game hunting with me.

Is there a min bow weight for small game?

IIRC the only time I have heard min bow weight was in regards to Big Game. And just to double check, she would need to get her hunter's safety card to get a small game license just like big game correct?

Post by: CP on May 26, 2015, 03:01:16 PM: 40lbs is the min for big game. There is no limit for small game. and yes, she would need hunters' ed to get a small game license unless she was born prior to 1972.
