Yep !! Looks dead to me I reckon !!
-
I think you killed someones pet.
-
:chuckle: :yike: :chuckle: :yike:
-
My uncle (Gamblin' Guy) also said that. Says I killed someone's 4H project, and every time we see each other, I get asked if I found the poor little kid looking for his/her pet.
-
You shot a protected species of inbreeds :yike: Your going to jail!! :chuckle:
-
That is the what happens when donald and daffy stray!!!!!! :chuckle: :chuckle:

I think that is what my boys refer to as a Kitchen goose/duck..lol aka Pet! Do you not identify your birds before you shoot them?????
Seems odd you'd be asking WHAT you shot after you shot it...??
-
You didnt shoot that anywhere near Hanford did you? :chuckle:
-
Blue Snow goose
-
My best guess would be an immature Spec. I have not seen a snow (or blue) with yellow legs.
-
Must have been close to the waste water treatment plant :chuckle:

Inbreds should not be a protected species...that's how we got Bucoda. :chuckle:

Could be. Snow geese have orange legs.
-
hows it taste
-
All the snow geese I have shot have either pinkish or gray legs depending on their age. :dunno:
-
Was it swimming next to a water fountain when you shot it? :dunno:
I think they are called Brown Normandy's.
-
I think it is more likely a spec but I don't think that because of leg color. Juvenile snows are often gray in color and I thought perhaps it might have been a blue snow goose but probably not since a spec seems more likely.

Grandpa had one that looked liekt hat runnign around his farm when I was a kid :chuckle:
-
was it flying when you shot it?
-
Yeah. Was on the goose call at a passing flock, and they were locked in to a field further on up the way, following them was a flock of ducks. Got on the duck call, and two of these flew in. I downed one with one shot (shell got stuck while ejecting) and the other got away. It looked like a goose coming in, but responded to the duck call.
-
Pretty sure that's a rare protected "Tree Duck" that probably got lost and flew off coarse during the snow storms.
-
It is a juvi specklebelly.
-
that would be an alaskan speckled belly... if they came in to your duck call you might be something a tad bit wrong... :hello:
-
Juvi Spec.
