My father also has the B cow tag. Do you need any permits to get onto the timber land? It's been a long time since I have been over in that area. Thanks' and congrats to everyone that drewyes you need an inland paper permit

I can make almost any time work, except for 10/9-10/12 & 11/18-11/30 (mulie hunting).
Here's our thoughts. Going for the opener to do some video, try calling in Bulls and possibly helping other who may want it. I'm in no hurry to notch this tag. I will for sure use my bow and video the hunt, this is a must for me.

Should be able to camp out there.

Curious...thoughts on time frame on when to do this hunt...?youll be able to fill this tag during any of the open season. I would try for November before your Miley hunt.
I can make almost any time work, except for 10/9-10/12 & 11/18-11/30 (mulie hunting).

would Newport be a good place to stay and what would be a good hotel or motel. I have a friend who has a tag, he is 18 or 19. is Newport on the north border? thanks, mike wnewport is probably the closest hotel/motel. Plenty of camping a lot closer.

I would imagine a cow on that land wouldn't be overly difficult. I haven't been there to know if the roads are gated or not tho.

good to know. I am sure before moving we will have rain and Iep will open. IEP is closed to motorized..not hiking tho or mt bikeWe parked the coach at the top of Blanchard pass in the pull out for 9 days for the bull tag and 5 days for the cow tag and never had any problems with either time.
There is allot of D N R land directly behind the spot mentioned above
