Title: Strickland Helix
Post by: xXLojackXx on June 16, 2015, 07:51:07 AM: Anybody on here ever shoot a Strickland Helix? Might give the 2 blade single bevels a try this year. No reason to leave Slicktricks other than why not try something new. Looking for real life experience, not internet consumer reports :chuckle:

I first bought them for elk because of their bone cutting capabilities. I know some folks don't like them.. but I thought they were well made and did a good job.

they worked great for me with elk this year. no damage to the broadhead whatsoever. passed through and got both lungs, and it went 40 yards or so before crumpling.

elk pass through and dead elk after 60 yards. I am a total fan now and will gladly pay a few extra dollars for these.
