I was watching arrow affliction yesterday and saw an ad for IQ bow sights anyone ever used or heard anything about them.

I've not used their sight but did have a "no-peep" on my last bow. This is an alignment device like the one built into the IQ sight. I really liked it and think it is an innovative design. If I did not already have a nice sight, I would have gone with the IQ when setting up my new bow a few years ago. Too bad they are so dang spendy.... :(

I bought one a while back but got rid of it. It's a good sight but I found that for me, having to keep track of the target, the sight pin and the bubble were enough of a challenge without adding a 4th element of making sure the IQ sight was lined up. With so much to keep track of at the same time I lost focus and did not shoot as well as I normally do. If your anchor point is not as repeatable as it should be and you can keep focus on your shooting while keeping track of all 4 of those factors at the same time, the IQ would be a good sight to use.

I use a Trophy Ridge Hitman 7-pin. I looked at the Spot Hoggs but my banker advised me against taking out a second mortgage so I could afford one and my financial adviser told me if I saved that money and put it in a Roth IRA for retirement I could hit the 4:00 buffet every Saturday for a year. ;)

I found I never had issues with the no-peep thing. Mostly it was just a quick glance at it to make sure I was lined up properly. It was great not having a peep sight to worry about getting a drop of water in it or cutting down the available light. Mine was farther away than the built in one.
If I was buying a new sight, I would get the IQ. :twocents:

I have the 5 pin on my bow hunting setup and say its allright. The retnia lock thing dosent really work so its acts as a normal sight . So overall its kind of just an expensive bowsight that dosent reall have anything special about it. Been thinking of getting a spott hogg but they sure are expensive

Sherman's No Peep invention did work. It takes a little bit to get used to and tune properly, but it does what it says when adjusted properly. I set them up on bows where someone has an inability to anchor properly. Whether that is an injury, birth defect, whatever. It really allows you to offset the sight as far as needed and still get good alignment and repeatability.
Of course I'd rather sell you a good peep sight if you can anchor properly ;) ;)

I really liked the no-peep, just couldn't figure out how to put it on my new bow.

I own the 7 pin and love it. If you draw the same every time and hit your anchor point, the retina lock should be centered anyhow. it just a reminder to not torque the bow and keep good form. I would definitely recommend this sight to any shooter!

you shouldn't be worried about distance with this sight! that's their claim to fame, better accuracy further out. just recommend to read the instructions when setting it up. they are step by step and are crucial to it working correctly.
