Posting this for a Co-Worker, These were found in the 60`s.
Officially score at 266 2/8.
With a 24" inside spread credit it would be 290 2/8
205 3/8 main frame.
84 7/8 trash.
36" wide.
Some info on the French Creek Buck Sheds,
These antlers were found in 1960 by an individual who was hunting in the Okanogan county above Pateros WA. He had them in his possession for almost 50 years before they were acquired by me.This is the largest set of mule deer antlers in the state of Washington with or without a spread credit. He plans to have them displayed soon.

Get them in the state books for sheds! thanks for posting. what a monster buck!
-
What a beast!!! What county were those from?
-
I have heard rumors of this buck before. If this is the one I have heard of I guess it is no longer a rumor. Those are absolutely amazing for any state. He should look into have them refurbished and mounted. It would be awesome. Do you know if he found them from his horse while rounding up cattle? Just curious.
PS- tell him to keep them out of the books, none of us will ever have a shot at number one ever again if he has them entered. :chuckle:
Awesome!!!!!!!
-
That would cause the big one as ole Red used to say.

:o Holy smokes! Ugly or not I would love to just see an animal like that. Be it live or mounted what an awesome animal. Just knowing something that looked like that existed before deer farms, high fence, Biologic, and photoshop is cool. Thanks to the poster, and the owner for sharing them with us.

That's so amazing! A real good friend of mine's Grandparents lived up French Creek and every year when we went over to stay there and hunt, he'd tell us the story of a huge non-typical that he had seen up above the cabin. It was in the 70's and he had a couple sheds that looked real similiar. Probably a relative. We heard the story every year.
