Hey guys was hoping someone could give me some advice,I just aquired a 2006 bowtech tribute, and noticed after a couple days that the bottom cam at rest is contacting the limb, and the top one is very close as well. Is this "normal"? If not, is it fixable?

I would take it to a shop and have them check your cam bearings..sounds like they are collapsing..

Probably an easy fix for them I would guess.?

I don't know the history of the bow but, I will guess it has been dry fired. If you sight down the cam you should see that it has taken a taco shape to it. Most the time it is an easy fix, you will have to have the bow shop guys order a new set of cams and axles. Just be sure to have them look closely at the limb pockets, for cracking or any wear. Also, make sure you take it to a bowtech dealer, if you don't and it is a warranty issue, as soon as it is put in the press...warranty is voided

Thanks tonymoe, I did take it to sportsmans and had em look at it, they contacted bow tech and got new parts on waranty within days. kudos bowtech!
