EXCELLENT buck and he will have a lifetime of adventures trying to top it. Thats why folks spouting some of these scores always make me cringe on the inside. 170 is a dang nice buck obviously.

In my original post, I estimated he'd go in the mid 150's and possibly 160. I honestly thought he would go 160. I would like to put a tape on a lot of the so-called 170 and 180 bucks that seem to surface everywhere. A 170 buck is an great trophy in Wa and a 180 is a real slammer in this state; especially as a typical. Scoring aside, he is a heck of a buck. Phool, I have made danged sure he has an appreciation for this buck. The only other buck he has taken was a blacktail spike from last year. He was getting mad at me for not letting him shoot every 3 point we had a crack at. It's nice when persistence pays off!!!
