I have seen ALOT of geese in lower Thurston county and Tenino maybe try to find some legal wetlands/open fields to hunt on and set up some decoys.

Green lake tends to always hold allot of them.
In all seriousness goose hunting takes scouting and permission on private land for the most part.

I will tell you where geese are when you give me exact coordinates of a nice 6x6 elk.

Too many people ask for spots. Best thing to do is jump in your truck and drive around till you find birds. That's what most of us did.

You can always hunt on Public lands, which is often overcrowded. I hunt on private land, which takes a lot of time and effort to find the birds and then you need to get permission to hunt them.  Expect to get more no's then yes when you ask if you can hunt.  If you lucky enough to get permission try and build a relationship with the landowner for future hunts.  Good Luck.

If yoy have a boat, go down to the Columbia for early goose. No card needed. Lots of honker families just milling around the beaches that need to be thinned out. Finding legit shooting spots is on you.

You have a whole month to get out and scout and find a spot.
