Title: Concealed carry holsters
Post by: Wingin it on July 25, 2015, 12:27:20 PM
I have a shoulder holster that is comfortable but can't always be worn. I am looking for other ideas for in waistband or other options. Also, if you have specific brands or types that you would recommend that is great too. For my purposes I am talking about a glock 27. Thanks

Alien Gear Holsters

Probably the best and most comfortable iwb I have ever worn. I can wear it with shorts and not have to tuck in my T-shirt and it's comfortable. They just came out with an upgraded model the Cloaktuck 3.0 that id it's like the 2.0 will be really great to wear.  They also finally came out with an out side the waist band model.

I also have an Alien Gear for my 9mm. It's comfortable. The belt clips are kind of cheap but when I emailed customer service for some replacements, I had them in two days, so really, no complaints.

Holsters are like shoes when you get older, it take a few to find the right one that fits you. I'm a revolver kind of guy and when out at the gun shows & pawn shops I pick up used revolver holsters if the price is right for when I buy any more used revolvers. I like holsters for every handgun I buy. I have picked up some decent holsters at a decent price that were comfortable to me. Some of my guns have holsters that are not comfortable to me, But I atleast I can carry them if I want to at a bargin price.
It will probably take several attemts to find the right holster that you are comfortable with, Good Luck.

When you find out what you want to try check out E-Bay for used holsters. They are broke in and cheaper then new, some have free shipping. I have bought several off of E-Bay.

Stealth gear. They are expensive and have a wait, but I hear they are probly the most comfortable on the market. Mine for my Glock 26 should be here in a week. but my buddy in Texas got one for his XDS and loves it.

These are the best I have tried:

http://www.comp-tac.com/mtac-holster-10225

They are smaller than the crossbreed and the leather really molds to your hip after a few wearings.

I have bought about 10 of these in the last 3 years between the Wiff and I obtaining quite a few new pistols trying to find the perfect Conceal Carry pistol for all situations. I have been happy with all of them and for the price, the quality is top notch. Not super fancy but very functional. http://amzn.to/1JzhkDS (http://amzn.to/1JzhkDS)

Currently using the clip (not snapping loop) model for my G19. Very convenient.

Of my several Glocks, 2 of them are G27's.......great choice.......

On all of my Glocks, I attached the 'Clip Draw' and have never been more satisfied and I have many different leather holsters, several of which are custom made.

There is no method of carrying that is lighter or smaller, much less $ spent out of pocket to purchase, that prints less, that is any more secure and your firearm can be brought into action very, very quickly.  A five minute attachment time and you're ready to go.

Check 'em out and good luck.
