Title: Charlie came through..... Big Time!
Post by: link on July 26, 2015, 11:26:18 AM: Well, I started thinking that Charlie forgot about me, but I got a text a couple days ago with some pics of my completed mount. I could not be more pleased with how it came out. It is exactly how I had it in my head when I first talked with him about it. The guy is an artist for sure.

Called a few times, Emailed & I think his website is down. Voicemail is different. I know this must be a crazy time of the season for him but not sure if I should keep trying to get ahold of him or not?

I talked to him a couple weeks ago. He is very busy, and rightfully so. I took a blacktail to him last year after I saw some of his work at a guy's home in Oregon. The cat has a house full of taxidermy and a couple really stood out, when I asked him about them he said they were done by a guy up in Washington and he gave me Charlie's number.

I have spent a fair amount of time in that area and know several people who have drawn that tag and that is the best buck I have seen taken out of there. Glad to see that you did not skimp in displaying that beast in a manner befitting a buck of his caliber! One of these years I hope to get my shot out there :-). Congrats again and thanks for sharing!
