Title: Anyone have a Barnes Load Manual?
Post by: jamesjett on July 26, 2015, 06:29:19 PM
I need load data for a 7MM Rem Mag for the Barnes 160r TSX and RL25.  Anyone have a book that they can look up the info and share?  Barnes updated it online and it does not show all the powders for that bullet.  Any help would be appreciated.  I can always drag my butt to the Sportsman's and buy one!

FYI - You can go to the Barnes website and look up data for any caliber and bullet!

Barnes does not post all of their data for each caliber on the website.  They only post updates since the last volume and this is per Barnes.  I checked their website and they don't publish RL 25 for the 160gr TSX 7MM on the data load site.  It's in the book but not on the website.

Sorry for the misinformation, I had used the info many times and thought it was all there.

It covers a lot, but some I guess they haven't got around to.  I've written them and hodgdon to get a good starting point without having to burn up a lot of their products, but never get an answer.   :o

I agree.  I've shot the 150 TTSX for a few years with great results with IMR4831.  The Barnes data showed that IMR 4831 was the most accurate load.  I was using RL22 with good results and decided to try IMR4831 per Barnes recommendation. Their data proved to be true.  I was in Sportsman's and checked an open copy of the manual for the 160gr TSX and the book listed RL25 as the most accurate load tested. I forgot to write down the min and max charges.  When I went to the Barnes website they did not list RL 25.

Email Barnes.
They are very helpful.

I can't even get acknowledgement of receiving an email from Barnes.  Emailed multiple times.  My best guess is that they have to run any answer past a lawyer and too much back and forth.  Maybe answers are still being processed.

Sorry.
I had a better experience a few years ago.

They e-mailed me back next day regarding a question I had about minimum velocity for a tsx to reliably expand.

I received an email regarding new load data from Barnes just the other day for 7mm and 300WM.

Here's the link:  http://barnesbullets.com/load-data/

Edit: didn't see your RL25 request until after I posted the link.  It's not listed.
