I've never used a judo point, does it destroy the meat? Looks pretty gnarly
Not much meat loss with a Judo. I always liked the Shocker 5 more than the Judo. Springs seemed tougher on the Shocker. Though now I carry the G5 S.G.H. Still stops skips, way tougher and kills big rabbits rather than having them run off with $30 worth of point and arrow. If the Bludeon would not skip it would be my #1, but I got tired of looking for my arrows.
One of these days I'll have to give the Easton V3 a try.

Made a 70 yard starling shot with the g5 :IBCOOL:
The plunger style ones are the cheapest but doesn't fly the same as field points...if it's under 30 yards and it's not super thick brush I like em
The judos are a nice mix between durable,accuracy, cost
Played with the condor heads aswell an they were just too brutal on game...seemed to really rip up the birds or rabbits but didn't provide the shock to kill them fast

Are those Vista small game adder points worth anything or the Snaro Bird Point?
Cool thing about E.W. Bateman's Adder Point is that you can use them one way for deeper penetration and the other way for more shock. I've put a hurting on the Oregon sage rat population using those backward behind a steel blunt. :tup: They don't bury under the grass as bad when applied backward either. Though they do wear out faster that way. I used to get them 500 at a time from Earl. Was my "Go-To" small game point for many years!
Snaro points are ok if wing shooting quail, crows or starlings. Haven't been pleased with them on anything of size. Get the small ones if you are going to try them. The big ones were worthless for me.

Partner and I shot a few geese opening day of early goose a couple years ago with Judo pts. All we got was crippled geese as the springs folded back leaving a field pt hole. The ones that go on under your field pt do a lot more damage.
Broadheads only for geese!!

I also purchased knock off toxics at $2 each, I'm planning on using those for small game
Now there is a good use of a Toxic! Probably skips to beat heck, but should really hammer the bunnies and birds :chuckle:
I found an old stash of Bateman Adder points this week. Sort of has me excited to drop a few plump grouse this year! Been a good many years since I destroyed a grouse with Earl's great little gadget!
